Public Health

Research Project

  1. Improvement and preservation of water environments, recovery of exhaustible resources, and the development of recycling technology for food waste.
  2. Studies on deterioration prevention and the regeneration technology of edible waste oil treated with adsorbents.
  3. Evaluation of the relationships between heavy metal concentrations in hair and the hair loss or diseases.
  4. valuation of the relationships between disease and life style, and the factor analysis for medical expenditure reductions.

Introduction

Recently much attention has been given to the field of public health. We focus on environmental health, food hygiene, hygiene, and epidemiology as they address those concerns. We conduct studies on the improvement, preservation and evaluation of water environments by recovering phosphate ions or rare metals, and/or removing harmful substances like cadmium in the environmental health fields. Secondly, we study the deterioration prevention and regeneration technology of edible oil treated with adsorbents or antioxidants in the food hygiene field. Thirdly, we evaluate the relationships between the amount of minerals in hairs and the loss of hair, or disease, in the hygiene field. In addition, we conduct epidemiological studies to understand the relationships between diseases and lifestyle. Finally, we evaluate the cytotoxicity and bio-organometallics using organic-inorganic hybrid molecular.
