Looking ahead to future energy applications, this laboratory is researching 1) nuclear fusion energy to produce electricity using the same principle that powers the sun, 2) hydrogen storage materials used in hydrogen fuel cells, and 3) thermoelectric conversion to produce electricity directly from heat.
