Kei Miyamoto, Lecturer from Faculty of Biology-Oriented Science and Technology, together with scientists from University of Bristol(UK) and University of Marburg (Germany) , has been awarded the 2016 Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) grant.
(Only three scientists from Japan, including Miyamoto, have been awarded the grant this year.)

The research team receives $1.05 million for a three-year study on the role of protein called "nuclear filamentous-actin".
