Kindai University's researcher Noriaki Arai, with professors from Keio University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln found a recipe for a nanoscopic "onion", or liposome, that could more precisely release therapeutic drugs or genes as the body peels it away.
They published their findings in the journal ACS Nano.
