    Summary:<p>本研究では、家庭から排出される食品の廃棄金額について推計するために、神戸市内における677世帯（冬季調査:302世帯、夏季調査:375世帯）を対象とした食品ロスダイアリー調査と、実際の店舗調査を実施した。その結果、食品の廃棄金額は１世帯あたり平均約1,422円/月であることが明らかになった。また、全国推計では年間約9,057億円であることも明らかになった。このことは消費者の購買行動や食品の販売形態に対する政策の必要性を示唆しているものと考えられる。また本研究では食品ロスの処理費用は、年間約565億円であることも明らかとなった。そのため家庭系の食品ロスに対する政策が、自治体の歳出削減にもたらす可能性は大きいと言える。食品ロスの発生が一時的なものではなく、長期的に続くことを踏まえれば、食品ロスの発生抑制に対する政策は、家計支出と財政負担の両方の視点から重要であると考えられる。</p>
