  1. An investigation for recommender services using electronic world-of-mouth information , 藤本 和則; 玉置 了 , Journal of business studies , 56 , 3 , 1659 , 1679 , Mar. 2010
【Abstract】 This paper investigates the influence of electronic word-of-mouth information to purchase intentions of consumers in order to discuss the recommender services exploiting the information. The experimental design consists of two parts: (1) subjects choose a digital camera from two by using information from the makers and (2) the subjects change their attitude toward the chosen one with electronic word-of-mouth information. Significant interaction effects were found on the purchase intentions across the level of subjects' product knowledge and their initial attitude formed by the information from the makers. The significance of the findings is discussed from the viewpoint of the possibility of recommender systems using electronic word-of-mouth information.
