Development of circularly polarized luminescent (CPL) luminophores based on rare earth elements

2017.04.26

Dr. Yoshitane Imai's (Kindai University) group successfully developed chiral Phanephos-Eu(III) hybride luminophore having circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) property. This novel luminophore is based on europium (Eu(III)) which is a kind of rare earth element and can control the rotation direction of CPL according to the kind of solution. This study was published in Dalton Transactions (RSC) and was selected as the Back Cover Picture. DOI: DOI: 10.1039/C7DT00741H
