Misaki Okita, graduate student in Functional Molecular Chemistry, receives excellent poster award at 10th CSJ Chemistry Festa, 2020

At the Chemical Society of Japan's 10th CSJ Chemistry Festa, held online October 20-22, 2020, Misaki Okita, a major in Functional Molecular Chemistry in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, received a CSJ Poster Presentation Award for Excellent Research.
The title of the winning poster was "Synthesis and evaluation of physical properties of coordination polymers consisting of copper(I) halides and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds."
The judges highly rated the manner in which the poster explained in easy-to-understand fashion extensive content, ranging from a new method for synthesizing coordination polymers and crystalline structure to electrical conductivity and light-emitting characteristics.
