The research results of Koji Nakashima, assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, entitled "Mechanical characteristics and elasto-viscoplastic constitutive model for methane hydrate-bearing sediments in Eastern Nankai Trough" was named winner of the FY2020 Yamada Kazuie Award (for civil engineering) from the Maeda Engineering Foundation.
