An award ceremony for the 8th Yukawa-Kimura Prize of the Yukawa Memorial Foundation was held at the Panasonic Auditorium in the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, on 21 January 2015. At the ceremony, Dr Akihiro Ishibashi, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Kindai University, was awarded a certificate, medal, and cash prize. After the ceremony, Dr Ishibashi delivered a commemorative lecture entitled "High-dimensional general relativity and black holes".
